The biggest benefit of a beach workout is that it’s just fun! Working out at the beach allows you to combine two of life’s greatest pleasures: exercise and relaxation. You get all the benefits of a traditional workout, plus a healthy dose of vitamin sea — and you get to enjoy your routine out in the fresh air.

Karate at the Beach
In consideration of being allowed to participate in any way in Karate at the Beach, which costs $30 to register, and related events and activities, by checking the box in the form:
1. I agree that prior to participating, they (if under 18, parent or guardian) will inspect the facilities and equipment to be used, and if the participant and/or parent/guardian believes anything is unsafe, they will immediately advise their coach or supervisor or Karate at the Beach personnel of such condition(s) and refuse to participate.
2. I acknowledge and fully understand that each participant will be engaging in activities that involve risk of serious injury, including permanent disability and death, and severe social and economic losses which might result not only from their own actions, inactions or negligence but the actions, inactions or negligence of others, the rules of play, or the condition of the premises or of any equipment used. Further, that there may be other risks not known to us or not reasonably foreseeable at this time.
3. I assume all the foregoing risks and accept personal responsibility for the damages following such injury, permanent disability or death.
4. I release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue Karate at the Beach, The Gathering Place, its officers, its affiliated clubs, regional sports organizations, their respective administrators, directors, agents, coaches and other employees of the organization, other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, and if applicable, owners and lessees of premises used to conduct the event, all of which are hereinafter referred to as “releasees”, from any and all liability to each of the undersigned, his or her heirs and next of kin for any and all claims, demands, losses or damages on account of injury including death or damage to property, caused or alleged to be caused in whole or in part by the negligence of the releasee or otherwise.
5. I release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue Karate at the Beach, The Gathering Place, its officers, its affiliated clubs, regional sports organizations, their respective administrators, directors, agents, coaches and other employees of the organization, other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, and if applicable, owners and lessees of premises used to conduct the event, all of which are hereinafter referred to as “releasees”, from any and all liability to each of the undersigned, his or her heirs and next of kin for any and all claims, demands, losses or damages on account of injury including death or damage to property, caused or alleged to be caused in whole or in part by the negligence of the releasee or otherwise.
6. I understand that the tournament directors reserve the right to combine or cancel any division, or place any individual competitor in a different division in accordance with their size, age, or experience level.
7. I confirm that my son/daughter/relative is in sound health and there is no reason why he/she cannot participate in this championship and/or event.
8. I confirm that I am over 18 years old and I am registering my son, daughter, or myself for the events specified above.
